Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Master the Map, operated by Barn30 (info@barn30.be). By creating an account or using Master the Map, you agree to them.
The service
Master the Map is a street-training tool for first responders — fire, police, and EMS — offered to individuals and departments on a subscription basis, with pricing based on the number of seats.
Accounts
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, and for activity that happens under your account.
- Department admins are responsible for managing who has access to their department's account, and for the accuracy of the roster they maintain.
- You must provide an accurate email address — it's how we reach you about your account, billing, and any changes to the service.
Subscriptions and billing
- Individual and department plans are billed annually in advance, in the currency you select at checkout (USD, EUR, or GBP).
- Department pricing is graduated by seat count — the exact rates are shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase.
- Adding seats to an existing department is billed only for the seats being added, not your existing capacity.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each year unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
- Refunds are handled case by case — contact info@barn30.be if something's gone wrong with a charge.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share a paid seat's login with more people than the plan allows.
- Use the service for anything unlawful, or in a way that could harm, disable, or overburden it.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another department's data or account.
Intellectual property
The Master the Map name, logo, design, and the software itself — including its underlying source code, structure, and the specific way its training modes and pricing logic work — are the property of Barn30. Using Master the Map does not grant you any right to copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or otherwise extract its code, design, or functionality for your own use or for a competing product. This applies regardless of the method used, including automated tools or AI-assisted analysis.
Map data displayed within the app comes from OpenStreetMap contributors and is used under its own open license, separate from Master the Map's own code and design.
Availability
We aim to keep Master the Map available and reliable, but don't guarantee uninterrupted access — maintenance, third-party outages (Supabase, Stripe, map tile providers), or unforeseen issues can occasionally affect availability.
Limitation of liability
Master the Map is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Barn30 is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.
Termination
You can stop using Master the Map and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, particularly the acceptable-use and intellectual-property sections above.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Belgian law.
